I'm in awe of this book and want to spend hours poring over it. One issue I have with it is that it seems to have no real organization or index, which I would have appreciated.Another is that parents of children may want to know there is a completely random nude picture of a woman and boys, along with a random mention of Zeus and his queen. It was so odd for this book, and since none of the other reviews even gave a heads up about it, I thought some readers might just want to be aware.I'm a birder, artist and lover of the outdoors. This book is wonderful.Nice copy of this book. I was happy with it’s condition.This is another book I purchased from Amazon to assist in my watercoloring journed. Beautiful illustrations. If you like birds and painting you will thoroughly enjoy this book. Bird watchers might like this for information regarding the different nests they find and sweet picturesw of those. Definately the right price versus a bookstore price.The detailed drawings were informative and reminded me of what the main character in “Where the Crawdad’s Sing” might have drawn. I loved have been enamored with that book.Cute bookThis is my first book by this author. I was in awe from the first few pages, beautifully illustrated watercolors with fascinating text. It reminded me of the first time I read "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady." This too, is a masterpiece. I'll treasure this book also, for years to come.Love the drawings. Text is sometimes difficult to read, but informative.Bought the book as a reference for my art, it's lovely. I love it. It arrived well before the expected date and I am delightedPurchased as a gift and they seem happy with it.
